I am Tetiana Moshenets, a professional sports ballroom dance instructor, choreographer, and fitness trainer with over 20 years of international teaching experience. I am based in Vancouver and passionate about helping students of all ages master the art of dance with confidence and joy. I have worked across Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada, preparing dancers for competitions, choreographing performances, and teaching both beginners and advanced students. I specialize in ballroom dance, which consists of two programs: Standard (waltz, tango, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, quickstep) and Latin (cha-cha-cha, samba, rumba, paso doble, jive). My approach is based on building strong technique, musicality, and expression. I offer private lessons, group classes, choreography coaching, ProAm training, and fitness programs focused on flexibility and posture development.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Choreography from European University and Bachelor’s and Specialist Degrees in Choreography and Organization Management from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. I am also a certified sports ballroom dance competition judge.
I provide professional ballroom and Latin dance training, choreography coaching, ProAm program lessons, fitness and stretching classes, and competition preparation for students of all ages and levels.
I lead foundational classical choreography lessons designed to develop flexibility, strength, endurance, and proper posture. These sessions enhance coordination and fluidity, supporting overall physical development and graceful movement.
I conduct functional fitness training sessions, enhanced with dance movements to develop physical fitness, flexibility, and inner energy. It’s important to me not just to train the body but also to inspire each person toward positive change. I organize fitness marathons where participants document their journey with “before” and “after” photos, allowing them to see real results and feel proud of their progress.
I teach children and adults sports ballroom dancing, helping each person discover their grace, strength, and confidence. In my classes, we don’t just learn the steps — we cultivate character, a sense of rhythm, and a love of dance. I believe that dance opens new opportunities not only on the dance floor but in life itself.

"When I first started ballroom dance, I was around 5 or 6 years old. My behavior was terrible, and I wouldn’t listen to anyone. Tetiana said that ballroom dancing would be the best solution for me, that I needed discipline and sport in my life. Very quickly, I fell in love with training, and my parents used to say, “If you don’t behave, you won’t go to dance class”, and it worked! I still remember my first competition: I spent the entire round arguing with my partner until the music stopped. Now, my photos are proudly displayed on my coach’s page, and I’m incredibly grateful for her patience and professionalism."

I have a special story. At one of the hardest moments in my life, Tetiana told me I had to attend my first ballroom dance class. I didn’t want to go, but she convinced me, she made me believe in myself. Now, I’m a regular participant in Pro-Am competitions and I can’t imagine my life without dancing. And it all started when Tetiana was teaching my sons… then my daughter… and then, me. ❤️

"My two sons attended Tetiana’s classes, and when the war began and we had to leave for another country, I thought they wouldn’t continue dancing. But they wanted to keep going, and we sent Tetiana videos of all their training sessions. I want to say thank you for teaching my boys, because of you, they still want to continue dancing today."

"Both of my children attended the dance club where Tetiana Serhiivna taught. From training sessions to competitions and dance camps, we always had the best experience."
